I used the wafer paper, which was colored with shortening and petal dust, as the wings. The large cookie was also painted with Americolor airbrush food coloring. (Still trying out different techniques as I learn.

 

@Nikki Carriere - These cookies look great - nice job! However, you submitted two very similar sets of butterfly cookies into the challenge, and we only allow multiple entries if the entries are completely distinct/unique. Can you please choose which of the butterfly sets you'd like to keep in the challenge by commenting under it on the site? Thank you!

I figured since I was being "challenged" with the wafer paper, I'd continue challenging myself with different techniques.
