These are the cookies for my kids' name day. We celebrate name days like we do bdays. Their name day is the same because they are Petya \female version of Peter/ and Pavel /Paul/. So their name day is on the day of St. Peter and Paul. I wanted to do animal print cookies for a long time and this challenge was perfect for it. The savanna for me is equal to summer and heat. So...I hope you like my version of savanna animals

P.S. I just realized I frogot to put dots for whiskers with eddible marker for the big cats. I was in a hurry to place the entry on time and fogot about poor little kitties

П.П. Честит Имен Ден на децата!

Благодаря от сърце, Силве!

These are super cute, but I'm not sure they are really summer-themed and therefore fitting the challenge guidelines, but I'll let @Bakerloo Station weigh in.

Kid's name day!!!  They are so cute! Zara.  Yes, I love your savanna animals.

Thanks, Ryoko! Kids loved them! Everytime I make a new set they say it's the best one I made But I really loved this one, it's my fave kids set so far...

What a super fun set for kids, Zara! Petya and Pavel are lucky !

Thank you so much, Sonja @iSugarfy (aka swissophie)! Yeah, kids loved them. My youngest, my son who's 4 said when he saw them finished: 'What a beautiful arrangment you made for the cookies, mommy!' Never thought a 4 year old boy will be so impressed by a cookie setting

Yes, I would say that this theme is VERY loosely "summer," but I will allow it to go through to the judges.

This is a really adorable set of cookies.  What a good idea to create the two-part animals by putting them on sticks.  I can see this method as good for lots of different types of cookies, like, for instance, snowmen!  Finally, I like the nice warm tan and orange that you used - they are warm and natural looking.

Thank you so much, Christine @Bakerloo Station ! After this set I realized I have someting about cookies on sticks. Haven't noticed before by my personal faves are the sets on sticks I've made several already.
