My NON-ENTRY for the challenge.

After sunflowers the bench is another favourite of mine. It is the second time I enter a challenge with this subject, a bench in the woods, but it was fitting well in the butterfly shape. The bench is a royal icing transfer, the background is hand-painted.

PBP #24- Bench in the woods
The wagon is hand-painted and the pumpkins are royal icing transfers except one.

PBP #24- Pumpkin Wagon
I used the word "Fall" for my third cookie, that seems to fill well the space. And I added some falling leaves (hand-painted, molded fondant) to give a feeling of movement and recall butterflies. The letters are hand-painted royal icing transfers.

@Ryoko ~Cookie Ave.

Thank you Ryoko! You can recognize the bench that I sketched last year for our PBP-Collaboration and that we didn't use. This is my 3rd cookie involving a bench

I gave too much dimension to the pumpkins, I was afraid that they might look like another kind of veggie

@iSugarfy (aka swissophie)

Thank you Sonja!

The amazing cookie that you have sent me, and that I keep like a Treasure, has been my sample to paint the wood in the wagon and in the bench. Actually there wasn't enough contrast between the bench and the background so I needed to over paint the bench very dark. ❤️

Your bench looks much more like wood than that sign I painted, Manu . The dark color gives a natural weathered look ❤️!

Oh they look pumpkin!!!

Yes, I remember the bench.  Bench and fall!!   We need a bench in the beautiful fall scene.

Autumn (Fall) my second favourite, Spring is my favourite, when everything starts to go to sleep.  Love the theme, beautiful piping and excellent execution.  Good job

Thank you, Valerie. I love the colors of Autumn with all the different kind of reds and yellow. I had maple trees in my garden in Italy and I could really enjoy the different colors of the leaves, green in  Spring and dark red in Autumn especially in a sunny day and with a clear blue sky.

Your bench cookie is so inviting. I can see myself sitting there among the trees and leaves munching on a bag of cookies. I love what you've done

I would love to sit and share that bag of cookies!

Thank you Anne Marie, glad you liked it.

Another amazing set of yours, the bench is my favorite! Love them all, colors and textures are very beautiful ❤️

Thank you, Evelin! ❤️ I was about throwing away everything several times... and then I over painted the bench darker to get some contrast.

Thank you so much Carol! It has been fun with moments of "pain"! In the last two months I didn't make so many cookies, because of my moving in Dubai, and I really felt this lack of practice on top of not being in my kitchen and having all my cookie stuff organized in a different way. I survived and it has been fun bringing a glimpse of Autumn/Fall here. The temperature outside is around 37ºC...

I am totally FEELIN' IT!  This is a great fall set all on its own, but its incredible how you utilized the butterfly shape here - each cookie is a completely different use of the shape.  LOVE.

Wonderful work, Manu! I especially love the pumpkins overflowing out of the wagon!

Thank you, Christine! I wanted to give dimension but still wasn't sure how to arrange them, so I opted for royal icing transfers in different sizes. Another pumpkin wagon is on the way...

Manu, they're perfect and I love them.  I can't wait to see your next pumpkin wagon.          Pip
