Oh my gosh, this is really beautiful Leoni!  It looks EXACTLY like a quilt. I tried this about 2 years ago without this success!  Gorgeous!

It took quite some filing to get the sharp edges - the cutter has round edges and bulging sides

i'm only really a beginner at cookies,and i've seen lots of cookie jigsaws,havent felt brave enough to try one yet, i love anything hand painted, and this is really beautiful,Laegwen!

Thanks for your kind words! That's a perfect way to start the day

As for the edges, I used icing as thick as possible (the picture doesn't show, but the surface is actually a bit bumpy in a few places) and formed with a scribe tool. That's all.

I'm actually a mess with needles, but my Mam, my sis and my granny are all quilters, so I have a large variety at home.
