Around the World in a Day

I traced the lettering on on a piece of parchment paper and then traced it on the dried RI surface with a scribing tool.

"Around the World in a Day" is one of my favourite Prince's album.

Saw the pic and thought it was your work.  Saw your name and thought 'she's too great'!  Fantastic!  I tried the parch and tissue paper technique and wasn't too good at it.  I flop and then I give up too easily.  I need to drag myself out of the rut!  lol  Love your set!  Happy to see you in the challenge.  I have cookies here but...  Stomping my foot and crossing my arms - It's my first try at lettering!  Pshaw!

Beautiful job!! Love how the cookies turned out . It's likely posted on this site on the forum or some other "technique" page but could you please describe the method for how to trace letters onto a cookie from parchment paper? I've tried it but can't seem to master it. Perhaps there's an easier way than what I'm trying to do??? Would appreciate any words of wisdom as you do this incredibly well

These photos were posted before when I made Halloween cookies. Trace the lettering by scribing with a pointy sharp tool, hard enough to make scratches you can see. I think the parchment paper needs to be thin.

You can use this technique to make characters and any pattern you want make precisely.
