Hi, this is a technique I invented to imitate Venetian glasses on the sweets. At the moment  I have no tutorials on this topic in my blog, cause I teach it in my courses, but if you like  it you can take a look to what is possible to make on cakes and cookies. You have to create cylinders with sheets of different colours, cut them in a lot of circles (slices), finally put them on plastic chocolate or fondant and flatten with a rolling pin.
