LOVE the Little Mermaid!  Remember in that Robin Williams movie where he stands on top of his desk to suggest another perspective to his students?  YOU let me see design from a new perspective -wow!  Can't wait to try something like this...Thank you!

The Dead Poets Society! Yes, this does give such a different perspective. It's lovely to see children's characters that are not so commercialized. I believe the overwhelming commercialization from companies like Disney is a disservice to both kids and adults, because it puts such emphasis on having the exact right perfect company approved images and items. I much prefer to see the little shoots of creativity that grow from the inspiration of the original. Disney is a perfect example of making delightful magic, then using it to make money instead of more magic.
