Our 2 granddaughters who live in Boston will be here next week. We haven't even met the youngest, Coco. Had to put their names on a couple of cookies!!! Am SO excited to see them :)

Congrats on your new granddaughter! And I love the idea of a yellow X-Mas tree - have never seen that before

Thank you so much Leoni!! Yes, the tree is definitely a departure from the traditional Christmas trees but I thought that different might be fun

Such wonderful cookies, Carol. And your granddaughters are very lucky to have such a talented grandmother to make them some sweet treats!

Thank you so very much for your kind comment!! I just can't wait to meet our newest granddaughter and oh how I miss our daughter!!! It's really hard for me that she lives 3,000 miles from us now. But, she's so happy where she lives and that's what matters more than anything else!

Thank you Anne Marie! I sure hope they like the cookies . Our daughter said that they recognize their names in writing now so of course I had to make sure to add their names into one of the designs. I'll probably take some pics of them eating the cookies...how fun!!!

I can't (refuse to) imagine my kids moving that far away, but their happiness is what matters. No doubt, being with your family will be the best Christmas gift!
