I learned a lot from my first 3D house construction and tried to correct the errors I had made. This house went together so much more easily as a result! Following Julia's, @Julia M. Usher, tutorials I mitered the corners for a better fit which also gave the roof eves. I also used Leoni's, @Laegwen, suggestion (included in a couple of Julia's tutorials as well) of marking the positioning of the sides to the front and back of the house. This was a huge help!! Thank you both . I also rolled the roof pieces to 1/8" so they wouldn't be too heavy, especially since I planned on putting fondant on the roof.

I spent a lot of time perusing houses and cookie construction houses. I wanted to incorporate various design elements that I thought would fit well together to achieve a cozy "daisy" cottage in the countryside. The biggest challenge was choosing the elements I thought blend well together given the basic floral theme, particularly Daisies and FenceRt SideBACK [2)Stone cottage housestone and painted housedaisies.

So well done, and so glad my tutorials were helpful!

Thank you so very much Julia!!! And YES, your tutorials are incredibly helpful. I believe they've opened my eyes and mind to so many new possibilities with cookie art! Love them all...♥♥♥

How cute! You almost can see the little fairy (or elf, or gnome - you get the idea, right ) family living in it. I would move in anytime!

Glad that my advise with marking the cookies helped. I should follow it myself... the last house I built had the straw roof thatched sideways instead of down because I am so very good at ignoring my own experiences from the past *lol*

It was very thoughtful of you to pass along such helpful construction suggestions! I love learning new ways of doing things that not only make the finished project come together more easily but also makes the whole process more enjoyable (less frustrating). This was a really fun project!! It's amazing what can be done with cookies, isn't it?! Thanks again

I love cookie houses! Did my first one a few weeks ago and it's so much fun.
Yours is totally cute and i'm really a fan of all the details and how you have put it together.

Great work! <3

Thank you so much!! They are SO much fun to do, especially when you get to the point of "gluing " the sides to the front and back. The pieces  start to look like a house! It's really easy to get caught up in the details,  isn't it?  I'll have to go back and see your house . I'm sure it's awesome!!

Adorable! Love all the tiny details ❤️❤️❤️

Evelin,  thank you for your kind comment!  I had a lot of fun with all the tiny details.  I thought of you while working on some of the tiniest detailed work. It's challenging when your fingers are just too big to  get into small spaces. I  had to make several adjustments to how I usually would have done certain accents.  Hugs...
