Elephant Theme Set for Gigi
Tried my hand at creating a "wood" background with the inspiration of so many others here who have perfected this technique.

Nice job - lots of great techniques here!

How was the wood effect done - handpainted or wet-on-wet marbling? Asking out of curiosity, but also to clarify your clip sets and tags. Thanks!

Thank you for your kind remark! The wood effect was done by flooding with black RI, waiting until it almost crusted and then running a needle tool through it in uneven lines. I then painted over the black with brown RI and used the needle tool to make the wood effect look more natural. It was fun playing around with it, especially with the layering of letters on top.

Thanks for the clarification - couldn't tell if it was painted or scratched from the image, but it sounds like a bit of both!
