First, I have to say that I love this challenge! Like you said, more you do it, better you get! Plus, it was the perfect excuse to try my brand new set of Rainbow Dust edible markers!

For this entry, I went with 2 inches circles. My thought is that the smaller the cookie is, the easier it will be to flood a circle. I starter at the edge of the cookie, as close as possible to the edge. I secure my first circle with another circle right next to it and then I flood the entire cookie. I also use a thicker icing to make sure the icing doesn't fall over the edge, and I use the same consistency for the outline and the flooding.

What a fabulous set of cookies this is!  Those vectors are super fun! You did an amazing job of flooding your circles and of bringing your flood all the way to the edges of the cookies. It also looks like your cookies baked into fairly uniform circles, which, I think you would agree, makes flooding them at least a little bit easier, no?! Question - Is all of the black outlining drawn or piped or both?  Your lines are so dark and crisp and fine.

Thank you! I agree, my cookies baked in fairly uniform circles, except for a few (ex: the croissant , but I think the clipart makes it barely noticeable).

To answer you question, all the black outlining is drawn.

These are Fabulous - so bright and clear! I too do an outer circle, then another right next to it - I think it draws the outer one in onto the cookie, then flood into the middle - also use a stiffer consistency.
