I made these rainbow hearts to help raise funds for a rainbow crosswalk on behalf of our local LGBT+ community. They made my kitchen so bright and colourful for the day!

A little bit about how these cookies came to be:
I made these cookies to raise money for our local rainbow crosswalk project. We're a town of 8,000 people and our small local LGBT+ group has been trying to get this project passed with town council. It goes to vote on March 20th, but they are at less than 50% of their financial goal, and it's been a very controversial topic these past few months - in fact, our openly gay town mayor doesn't support it. So I wanted to do *something* to help them gain their funds and to support their cause - I think the idea of a rainbow crosswalk in our downtown Square is great - so I made this cookie. People really liked them!

I finished off the rainbow stripes with a simple mini shell border in white.
