2 days ago we had general meeting of my junior high and high school reunion.  I was asked to make our summer uniform cookies for bazaar at reunion.  Our school has been established in 1922.  Since then the design of our uniform has not been changed.  Unfortunately there was time when students couldn’t wear the uniform, which is during WWII.  School rules are very strict, the length of our hair and hair styles are almost same, but we preferred longer skirts and longer ribbons in our days and later shorter skirts were preferred, fluffy and shorter ribbons are worn by students now but basically the material and the shapes are just the same all those years.

A little rectangular thing on the collar is name plate.

I hope this is interesting for you to look at the school uniform and how students looked like in my school days.

Ryoko you always come up with some cute ideas they look adorable all dressed up in their schoolies when I went to school we had our skirts measured daily they were to be no more than 2 inches above the knee and after they were measured we all roll their skirts up from the waistband to a more appropriate height for a teenager like 10 inches lol! I hope you like my story too as much as I loved hearing about yours

Anne, same here!  The length of skirts changed when teachers were not around.

Very interesting indeed, Ryoko! Love how you present the cookies!!!

Thank you.   I made only white top part for the bazaar and I wanted to show how we looked like when we were students.  I hope these are interesting to many generations and people who do not know Japanese culture.

Hi Kim, thank you.  Now I want to know how the students look like to go to school in different areas and countries.  (on cookies, of course)
