I am so glad that you had time to re-enter the challenge!  I love this teal color, and think you did a great job with the stenciling.  I need to do a little more practicing with royal icing stenciling myself! I think your flooded base circles are excellent. I use the same method as you, and use one-consistency icing as well.

Thanks a lot Christine 💙💐

Very nice! This pattern immediately recalled the other set!

😀😀 glad you noticed that Manu! I was lucky to find the similar pattern on a stencil but didn't have much time to play with it.

My new entry for the Practice Bakes Perfect Challenge #27. After my Mediterranean Tile Cookie Set was disqualified, I wanted to make a quick and easy cookie set for the sake of time saving. But I also wanted to try something new for me. This is my second go with stencilling. I can’t say I quite like it but definitely need more practising.

I don’t use two diffent consistencies to cover the base of the cookie. I usually use #3 tip with flooding consistency which is a 15 seconds icing for me. First I pipe an outline and then flood inside of the line with applying more pressure to the piping bag. Then, correct and smooth the edges with my scribe tool. Hope that makes sense.
