Your choice of colors and techniques, even the darker cookie, are so appealing. May I ask, how did you achieve these beautiful stripes? Are they hand painted on a dry icing base?

I used wet on wet techniques. I prepared different colored icing and piped thick stripes on the cookie. before the first stripe dries i immediately piped the next one. That way all colors blend in and created a flat surface after it is done. hope that helps!
