It's a lovely cookie, though I am so sorry to hear about your loss.

Thank you Julia. This was my first Mother's Day without my mom. I started cookie decorating four months ago and have found it to be very therapeutic and an outlet for my grief. Thank you for accepting "cookiers" at all levels to be members and for all you do to keep this site running. You are an inspiration to us newbies!

What a gorgeous and powerful cookie.  It is such an amazing tribute to your mother.   Peace, to you.

Thank you & I truly appreciate the theme you created for this challenge. I am still very new to cookie decorating and have used only fondant roses until now (which I am not fond of taste-wise). This month's challenge definitely put me (as you stated) "out of my comfort zone", but in a very constructive way! I hope to keep practicing my technique & am determined to pipe roses like my idol, Teri Pringle Wood, someday! Thank you very much for the encouragement you give to us "newbies."

Thanks - keep on cookie-ing. I can't believe you've only been at it for 4 months - yours certainly doesn't look like the work of a newbie!
