The Tailored Cookie was inspired to create her very own Wedding Favor cookie after shopping around for quotes at local bakeries to have them made. After being turned off by the extreme quotes that she was given, she decided to dive into her own cookie making experience...after being elbow deep in cookie batter, she came to the conclusion that these cookies are worth the time and extreme effort because of the amazing outcome.

After mastering the pastry bag and bestowing countless cookies on her husband Mike she started to receive requests from friends and family members to make shortbread cookies for them and their special occasions. In 2009, The Tailored Cookie was born. After being encouraged to go into business for herself  she dove in feet first and continued to enjoy being elbow deep in cookie batter. During 2020, we decided to close up shop and we have recently created a YouTube channel to demonstrate how to make beautiful cookies.
