Reply to "Best Shipping Service for Insurance Claims?"

I use USPS flat rate. The issue I've had is not being delivered on time. I only use the $50 that is included. I do not sell my cookies but they tell me if there is damage, they will pay the claim. I am adding a CRE: Cookie Ready to Eat~birthday edition that will be sold to help fund deployment boxes. I will take photos of them wrapped and when they are secured in the box. I send 2-300 in a box and have had only a few per box break. I just sent 130 to Japan and the box was crushed but not one cookie was damaged. When I got the picture of the box, I called the usps and they said take pictures and start a claim. Nothing broken inside, so no claim. The one to England...not so lucky. Seems there were hungry and determined rodents on the trip and they got 6 cookies.  Chewed through 4 layers of bubble wrap, 2 freezer bags, 6 layers of Saran Wrap just to get to them. USPS Wouldn't honor that. I have heard that sending to military overseas that USPS only guarantees to the point where the military takes possession. Like once it leaves USPS to go on Military Air or cargo.
