In Australia we do not have pasturised eggs, and the only merigue powder is for a pavlova mix, but fortunately at the local cake supply shop I was able to purchase egg white powder. My daughter is several months pregnant and the one thing the doctors insist here, is to avoid anything with raw egg e.g. mayonaise, royal icing etc. but the egg powder is considered safe. Cookie decorating is very new to me, so I need lots of practice, but am enjoying myself. I love reading all the information that's given here. wavey
