One of Lori’s (aka The Mad Baker) earliest Christmas gifts was a kitchen set, complete with stove and refrigerator and a bevy of pots and pans.  She made pretend meals for hours on end before eventually graduating to her very own Easy Bake Oven.  In high school, she joined the Drama Club and started volunteering for the local community theatre where she found a whole new artistic source of inspiration.  After graduating from college, she spent the better part of sixteen years on the road as a Stage Manager with several Broadway National Tours including Rugrats, 42^nd Street, The Lion King, Jersey Boys, and Mary Poppins.  During this tenure, she had the pleasure of living and traveling all over the US and the World and gained a certain widespread notoriety for creating tasty and unusual treats in her trusty toaster oven.  Unlike many in this business, she has never taken a cooking class or worked in a restaurant.  Her experience comes solely from doing what she loves and Cheshire Cat Confectionary is driven by a creative vision and passion that cannot be taught or bought.
