Pre-Launch Giveaway - The New JULIA Airbrush-Compressor System!

Hi, all! As you may know, I've been hard at work (for over a year!) with the wonderful Badger Air-Brush Co., a premier US airbrush manufacturer, designing a high-performance airbrush system for cookie and cake decorating. The new JULIA system (estimated retail value of $225) delivers unrivaled professional results, while still being easy enough for beginners to use and maintain. It will be released worldwide later in April, but now is your chance to get it for FREE, along with a lifetime labor warranty! Specifically, this system includes:

  • JULIA dual-action airbrush (105-JU) with quick-connect adaptor (51-038) and barbed fitting (50-026)
  • 5-foot clear quick-connect air hose with inline air regulator (JU-5018)
  • JULIA on-demand air compressor (JU-180), with 35 psi maximum (tested) operating pressure

Enter the giveaway in the widget below by March 30 (9 am CT) for a chance to win! If you do various extra things (like subscribing to my YouTube channel or visiting the Badger Facebook page), you'll earn more entries in the giveaway - which means a greater chance to win! The giveaway widget will guide you through all of those details.

PRE-LAUNCH GIVEAWAY: New JULIA Airbrush-Compressor System for Cookie and Cake Decorating

Shortly after the giveaway closes on March 30, one lucky winner will be randomly drawn to win my new JULIA system. That winner will be notified between March 31 and April 2, 2018, and the system will ship within about 1 week of notification. Prize fulfillment will be handled by my airbrush partner, Badger-Air-Brush Co. (customerservice@badgerairbrush.com). Shipping anywhere is included.

I'll, of course, give you a complete rundown (with videos) of the system's features when it officially releases. In the meantime, here are some of the reasons I believe this system is so special, and truly the best one out there for both precision cookie decorating and larger scale cake work. . .

Key airbrush features:
1. Dual-action (vs. typical single-action) trigger, for better control and fewer spraying mishaps
2. Finer spray, due to smaller needle tip
3. Less overspray, due to small (0.3 mm) nozzle opening
4. Works well with all mediums, including white and metallic food colorings, due to unique nozzle configuration
5. Large (1/4 oz/7 ml) coloring cup, for everything from small to large jobs
6. Easy-to-remove coloring cup cap, to avoid coloring spills
7. Quick-connect adaptor, to quickly and easily swap in different airbrushes
8. Easy to clean - minimal to no disassembly required! There is no airbrush simpler to clean - I guarantee!
9. No tools required after any initial disassembly

Key compressor features:
1. 35 psi maximum operating pressure - not just for small jobs!
2. On-demand activation, meaning it operates only when the airbrush trigger is depressed, which also means it's very quiet!
3. Fully variable air flow control, for everything from close-range detail work to broad coverage
4. Air flow controlled with an inline air regulator (dial), conveniently located on the air hose rather than the compressor
5. Clear air hose, to easily detect any moisture accumulation
6. Long (5-foot) air hose, for flexibility in setup

And that's all for now about my new airbrush system. I hope you love it as much as I loved designing it for you! Also, a HUGE thank you to my partner Badger Air-Brush Co. for working so tirelessly with me over the last year to turn this dream into a reality!

Stay tuned to my Facebook page for my upcoming launch announcement. In the meantime . . . what are you waiting for?! If you missed the widget above:

It looks amazing!  Congratulations, Julia on the big launch!

It hasn't launched officially yet! Just a pre-launch teaser giveaway! But we're close!

I’m glad you aren’t launching this month because my credit card took a beating with CookieCon.  I was very lucky because I got through before the system crashed and got my classes of choice and a hotel room.  Add in airfare and my credit card is feeling the stress.  I guess the cookie gods were telling me to not quit decorating.  I am concerned about the cost of the airbrush.  At $225 your going to have to prove to me it worth the money, especially since you’re already excellent with an airbrush.  Too bad you won’t be at CookieCon where we could try it.

Wow, you're a tough cookie!  I'll have videos showing how it differs from others on the market when it releases; hopefully, they'll convince you. I'll also be demoing it at So Flo. I'll also tell you: it's very hard to do the detail work that I do on my cookies without the precision of this airbrush - a lot of what I can do is because of the tool that I use, not because of any inherent skill. Also the compressor is bigger (and will last longer) than any out there for cookie decorating right now - couple that with a lifetime labor warranty, and it's hard to go wrong! But enough for the sales pitch . . . I wouldn't offer it if I didn't think it was worth it.

Good answer!

I've been waiting for it since christmas 😂 It's finally here.☺

Thanks for your patience. My apologies, but my partner and I, of course, wanted everything to be as perfect as it could be before launching.

Oh how exciting Julia!!! I've been eagerly anticipating this notice for awhile now (I'm sure that I'm not alone ).

Thank you @Julia M. Usher for taking the time to provide the highest quality product that you're proud to put you name on and that we can use for many years to come. I'm so excited to see it up close!!

I am so excited to use this airbrush as my first. I have debated this one and that for so long going over the good and bad of each one out there, that I just could not decide. So I've gone without. But low and behold, Julia came up with one that was intended for the job. (A birthday present to myself? I think so!) Thank you.

Guys... I was lucky enough to attend one of Julia's classes and saw first hand this airbrush in action. It is amazing and there is truly nothing in the market like this for cookies. I can't wait to make the purchase at SoFlo.

Thanks so much for the endorsement, @Chua Cookie! If my Badger Air-Brush partner is true to his word, you should be able to get a huge deal on the system at So Flo. Last we spoke, he was talking about a show-only deal of $180 for the system and $75 for just the airbrush, but I am not sure that is final yet. See you soon! XOXO

*** IMPORTANT GIVEAWAY UPDATE ***

MY AIRBRUSH GIVEAWAY HAS OFFICIALLY CLOSED, AND THREE WINNERS HAVE BEEN DRAWN AND NOTIFIED. Say congrats to Alexandra Stark, Angel Monique, and Karla Cyr! Thank you ever so much to all who participated and helped to spread the word! Also, stay tuned for official launch details in April!

For those of us that have a working compressor already, will you sell the gun separately?

Yes, the gun will be sold separately. However, it is a dual-action gun, which is best paired with an on-demand type of compressor (like the one in my system) and not a continuous flow type.
