Hi there,

I have seen a thread here about video promotion but it was too old that I thought to create a thread. I haven't done any video promotion works but heard that it gives a drastic change in business https://wpgurus.net/advantages-of-video-marketing/. But lately, I have seen an article http://www.grassrootsadvertisi...flash-mob-marketing/  describes how the flash mob is used for marketing. I think it is much better to do flash mob since it is cost efficient. You can ask your workers, friends or family to join in the flash mob. I think it is the cheapest way to promote the business.

Has anyone here used a flash mob for marketing with any kind of good results? For something like cookies, I still think word-of-mouth advertising (which can be conveyed through ratings on Facebook pages, testimonials on a personal site or possibly in a video, etc.) goes a long way. Personally, I'm not likely to buy food because a flash mob sings about it; I'm more likely to do so if someone, who is unbiased, says the product is good. But that's just me . . .

I think if you're going for local customers, and you combine the event with lots of tasters, so the flash mob itself is mainly to get attention for the cookies themselves, and if you get good footage of people seeing and tasting the cookies is you can make a video advert too, then it might work. The key thing is for people to be able to see the cookies, and taste them.
