How to Make Airplane Cookies

My daughter asked me to make these for her husband who just graduated from aviation college. How would I make the airplane? Can anyone give me a tutorial or tell me how?

Hi Michaela, they look like they're royal icing transfers. Where you pop some parchment paper onto a template, ice onto that, let it dry then carefully peel it off the next day. There is a good tutorial here from the Bearfoot Baker (loads of others too if you do a google search for royal icing transfers) http://thebearfootbaker.com/20...yal-icing-transfers/

Hope that helps

Marie

Hi, Michaela, Site rules prohibit the posting of others' images without their permission - in all areas of the site. So sorry, but is there a way to link off to this photo rather than directly embedding it on the site? If so, please include that link, so that I can delete this photo. Perhaps your daughter can find the link, which might also give you contact info for (or a link to) that creator, as often the best advice is obtained from the creator.

No, we have a no posting of others' images policy w/o permissions, period, as this too can be a copyright violation. If you want input on a particular design in the future, just post a link to it. Thanks. I'm just deleting the image here, not the whole post. (You can also delete your own posts, so moderators don't have to get involved - that is often a great help to me.)
