Hi, just checking to see if I am the only one who did not receive any site notifications in the last 24 hours (from about 11 pm CT Friday to now, 11 PM CT Saturday)? I've reported my trouble, which I hope is localized to me and will be resolved soon, but please let me know if you are experiencing similar issues.

And please bear with me . . . if you have messaged me on the site, it's very hard for me to know right now without any notifications coming to me.

Thanks.

My tech guys says it's a problem with the forwarding of emails sent to my sweetlife@juliausher.com address, which may take a few days to fix. If anyone has sent an email to that address in the last 24 hours, please be patient. I'm working on a way to access those emails now.

Hi Julia - I thought it was something I have done wrong. I have been unable to receive any notifications for several days now. I feel like I have lost my best friend. Hope we can figure out what is happening. Thank You.

Have you checked to make sure you did not inadvertently unsubscribe or change your email notifications? Or perhaps they have gone into your junk mail, if you changed spam filters recently? I have been getting every single notification from the site and have not received any other complaints about this. I am not able to change your email notifications for you; you have to do this yourself. Please follow the instructions in this link to make sure you've set your notifications as you want them: http://cookieconnection.juliau...-email-notifications

If you continue to have trouble, then email me directly (sweetlife@juliausher.com) with some screen shots of your email settings so I can have tech support look into it. Thanks.

Cheryl and Sarabella - I just checked with my tech guys and here's what they said:

"It looks like AOL is blocking our mail servers from delivering mail currently, so that's the issue here. The issue is that too many people report notifications as spam, which ultimately gets the IP blocked. We'll see if we can get them to unblock it again."

So, in other words, if you or others have marked the site's emails as spam at one point or another, your email client can block the site. This appears to be the case again with AOL. They are pretty aggressive about blocking. Last time, the issue was resolved in about 24 to 48 hours. Hopefully, the same will be true this time, as a request has already been put in to AOL to unblock. Thanks for your patience.

If AOL is not your email client, Sarabella, then you may have another issue. Let me know if your situation has resolved, please. Thanks!

Still can't get any notifications. I have triple checked and have everything correct on the cookie connection notification boxes. I guess I will have to find a new e-mail server. Thanks for trying to assist!

Cheryl - As I noted in my other post, AOL has still not lifted the ban on this site's server. (It could have been any other number of sites, not just this one, that caused the ban on the shared server). My tech guys have put in two tickets requesting that the ban be lifted, but that's all they can do at this point. AOL has responded in the past, but there's no telling how long it will take. You could also contact AOL and ask that the ban be lifted at least from this site, as you are not getting legitimate email from us. I'm sure the added push from the customers who are actually affected would help. But this is nothing I can do (I have no services with them), and apart from continuing to monitor our request to lift the ban, there is no more I can do. It's easy to open a Google gmail account (I have multiple email accounts in case anything goes wrong with my primary one), and apparently they are less prone to this sort of thing happening. That's all I can recommend right now. So sorry you are having trouble with AOL.
