Oh, it's all very exciting here as I start packing up for Cookie'sCool, Europe's first-ever large-scale cookie decorating event. It starts next Friday and runs through the following weekend, though I leave first thing on Tuesday morning to allow time for travel, jet lag recovery, and a full day or so of prep.

Between my classes and demos, I'll be pretty busy with cookie talk and other cookie dealings since I'm serving as mistress of ceremonies. That said, I think it's unlikely that there will be a Saturday Spotlight next week (on November 15).

Though what I will try to do instead is report back periodically with updates and photos from the event, as I've gotten into the habit of doing when I travel.  (Internet connection and time permitting, that is.) This event promises to have a lot of newsworthy cookie happenings to report, what with instructors coming from nearly every corner of the globe and the largest array of hands-on classes I've ever experienced under one roof!

Even if it proves difficult to post relatively real-time, I will definitely have a full recap once I get back, after November 19. And have no fear - I've got a lot of great posts from our contributors just raring to go in the blog queue, including Rebecca Litterell's debut post of Storefront Diaries, so there will be no shortage of content in my absence.

Cheers and have a great week!

I'll do my best. The updates may come after I get back because it's truly going to be a jam-packed schedule and I don't have an assistant.
