Yes, here in the US anyway, October is National Cookie Month!
We have no formal way of celebrating it in this country other than to bake, decorate, AND eat cookies. And here on Cookie Connection, we spotlight it with a cute themed backdrop and banner by Pretty Sweet Designs.
Other than that, we just encourage you to continue your wonderful fall- and Halloween-themed contributions to the site! 
And, of course, don't forget our Practice Bakes Perfect Challenge #12, which concludes on October 11; these challenges are a great way to expand and hone cookie decorating skills - and fun too!
