Julia,

I just saw your link to this on Pinterest and it is GENIUS!! Some of you may have seen this already, but it's a link to Julia's main website showing how she uses The Container Store's Cupcake Caddies to transport cookies.

AWESOME idea!! I have actually been searching for an alternative to carrying cookies on sheets to a wedding that I am doing next week (this is a very rainy month in Florida).

In case anyone else needs this solution, check it out:

Thanks, The Tailored Cookie. They've been a Godsend for me with the traveling I do. The fact that they fit under "the seat in front of you" on a plane is key. Most overhead compartments are sloped, so cookies can easily slide and break. And then you've got the perennial stubborn traveler who, refusing to pay the checked baggage fees, insists on mercilessly ramming his/her over-sized roller bag into the bin without any regard for what else might already be there . . .  (I had a brand new computer broken this way, and I'm not about to see hours of decorated cookies meet the same untimely fate!)

Wonderful ideas!  However, are there any thoughts out there for packing for 3D cookies?

I travel with my 3-D cookies exactly the same way - same containers, just without so many levels. If you have another question unrelated to this one (i.e., about packing for shipping 3-D cookies), then please start another forum topic rather than starting the question here where it is unlikely to be seen.
