"Ultimate Cookies"

Not to sound too much of a suck-up, but you can't go wrong with Julia's "Ultimate Cookies" book! I love the beautiful artistry of all the cookies and the gorgeous photos. It's eye candy! I've spent many hours just ooooh and ahhhing over all the wonderful cookies.

I also like Autumn Carpenter's books. Her "Cookie Boxes and other 3D Projects" is more of a pamphlet than a book, but I enjoyed her simple instructions. The projects are very approachable, especially for the beginning decorator.

The book sounds great.

Sorry I haven't been back since I joined. Remodeling and making cookies for a baby shower - deadline is Monday. Then we are caught up in a MS Bike Ride till the 22nd. After that, I hope to connect with you. In the meantime I have thousands emails to comb through.  :0

And I am totally going to make Julia's Sugar cookie recipe this week (Have to get some ingredients for the Royal icing and regular all purpose flour (realize I only have wheat) Ive been collecting and organizing the tools for the last 3 weeks....
