Hi, all! I just wanted you to know that I am taking a long overdue vacation, starting on June 25 and returning on July 7.

During this time, I am going to do my best to stay off the computer, which means off Cookie Connection as well. I really need some time to recharge and to think about things other than cookies and cookie-related commitments. So, that being said, there will be no Saturday Spotlight on June 25, and quite possibly none on July 1 either.

Before I leave, I will swap in new site artwork and introduce you to our July site artists, update the Decorator Directory, and possibly edit one more blog post from Liesbet (another great Toolbox Talk), but that's all this girl has energy and time to do in the coming week!

Please also note that if site technical issues should arise while I am away, your first line of defense should be contacting our site tech support. You can find a link to them at the very bottom of every page on this site.

Thanks for bearing with the lack of Spotlights for a week or so. I hope to be back to my normal post-happy self around July 7, give or take a couple of days to allow for re-entry into real life!

I definitely plan on eating lots of lobster - we'll be in Maine!

Have a wonderful time Julia!!! Recharging the batteries is so important and most of us don't take the time to do that due to busy schedules. And you are one busy lady!!! Have fun...stay away from the computer!!!

Thanks - just one more day to get my act together before I leave. But I'm really looking forward to the time away!

I have a place in Maine, so maybe one day I need to plan a cookiers' getaway there?!! It really is a slice of heaven. And the house is in the town that has the largest lobster haul in the state of Maine. The lobster is delicious, abundant, and super inexpensive!
