Hi, everyone! I wanted to take a moment to share exciting news about some very talented cookiers who we all know and love. As you may have heard, I have had the distinct pleasure of sponsoring the American Cake Awards (ACA) cookie category for the last two years - since the program's inception, in fact - and I judge all of the skills-based categories for it as well. So you can imagine my joy when I saw the official list of ACA Cookie Award finalists announced today. Here's a closer look:
This category was such a tough one to judge, as each of these artist's work is awesome in different and many ways. All of these finalists are truly winners for having gotten this far, and extraordinary examples of how to master our craft! I extend my heartfelt congrats to them for their very deserved nominations, and I hope you will too!
Everyone else, don't forget to get your American Cake Awards' tickets so you can witness firsthand the grand winner reveal. They are still priced at Early Bird levels, but prices will go up soon. I plan to attend with sequined pants on this year (
