With tomorrow being the official first day of spring, it seemed only appropriate that we celebrate with a giveaway! Woo hoo!

Thanks to the very generous and talented cookie cutter designer Michael Bonne, dubbed America's Favorite Coppersmith by Martha Stewart, I've got a very special Cookie Connection exclusive for you! Michael is a true artisan whose copper cutters are nothing short of collectible quality, and, as luck would have it, he's designed the following springtime set ("Potting Shed" and "Mini Watering Can") just for this giveaway!

  • As noted earlier, this is the very first "Potting Shed" cutter set; no others will be made until this giveaway is over. Michael will sign the winner's cutters with "The First One" and the winner's name!
  • Retail price (once released) will be $95.
  • "Potting Shed" is 4 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches tall. "Mini Watering Can" is 1 3/4 inches wide by 1 1/4 inches tall.
  • Handcrafted solely by Michael from solid copper and food safe solder. Handle is stamped with Michael's maker's marks ("Michael Bonne Made It").
  • Inner design lines emboss the dough; only the outer bands cut the dough. The words "Potting Shed" are just an artistic detail; they will not emboss the dough.

What a beautiful cookie cutter! Michael and Julia, I would love to win that cutter for my mom. She's an amazing cookie maker and she's a gardener too and she adores copper cookie cutters! It would be perfect for her.   Thank you for introducing me to Michael's wonderful artistry.

Hi Michael and Julia,

This is an absolutely beautiful cutter.  I love the detail in it.  I would thoroughly enjoy having this cookie cutter in my collection.  Really exquisite.

Thanks

Laura

I would love to win this cookie cutter set!  They are beautiful and unique.  I have just started decorating cookies after several years of just doing cakes and cupcakes and I am having so much fun!! I have learned so much from Julie usher and I have both of her books!  Keep the books coming!

I would love to win this cookie cutter set.  As a new cookier, it would be awesome to work with a copper cutter & I absolutely love the design.  in the daytime, I'm a Principal's Assistant at an Elementary school.  We are celebrating our "Garden To Table" spring planting.  these cookies would be an awesome surprise for the students!

How would you guys like this cutter to go overseas...? I would be very happy to give it a loving home in The Netherlands and take it for a visit to Mariëlle at De Koekenbakkers for instance. Results will be posted. If the shipping costs cause a problem I will be happy to pay them :-)

I'm picturing this cutter forming the gable ends of a 3D gingerbread potting shed, or fairy tale cottage as a birthday centrepiece, or snowy Christmas candle holder, with the door and window cut away...so many ideas! even if it was never used, it's too beautiful to put away in a cutter box, it may even have to hang on the Christmas tree!

What craftsmanship!  That is a beautiful cookie cutter!  I am opening a bakery in May and this would look FABULIOUS displayed in the bakery!!!   I would love to win…but be happy for any of the amazing bakers here to have it as well.

What would I do with this cutter?? I saw it, and afer the WOW and the OMG.. my head started spinning... my mom is a master gardner, I am always making flower cookies for her... this would make an amazing little garding shed and I am dreaming of decorating it 'Artie McGoo' style - like her house with the little vines on it and the tiny bluebird... and the watering can cutter too... it is too... tooooo cute!!!  (AND when I showed my daughter the phot this morning, she was amazed), I think she wants one, who would not want one!

I usually just sit and look at all the beautiful decorated cookies produced by Julia and the rest of the cookie community. Never enter a contest, never join in. Well today I did join Cookie Connection and figure I would love to own that cutter and I probably could put it to good use. 4 years into decorating and loving every minute of it. Maybe, just maybe, I'll be at the next CookieCon.

i would love to win this cutter. it's uniqueness in design, it's heirloom quality craftsmanship and it's simple beauty would make it a lovely stand out piece in my collection. i can envision it being interpreted so many different ways! and i know that i could do it justice in the final cookie product! thank you!!

I would love to win because being a new cookier this is the first time I have seen Michaels work and it is truly beautiful in all aspects!!! I'm on my way to visit his online store now!Thank you and hope my number comes up!

Instead of "Bond" as in "James Bond",... It's "Bonne . . . Michael Bonne".

I don't own any of his cutters but I would love to apply my decorating style to this adorable cookie cutter. I would also love to pass it on to my Grandchildren with years of use so that every time they pick up the cutter, they might remember, with a smile on their face, the many cookies I made with it.

" Jinnee Parr " would look so pretty engraved on copper !

I would love to win this cutter, because I'm just getting started on a small baking business and don't have very many tools needed to make nice and intricate detailed cookies like this.  Also, my mom is quite the gardener and she's healing from cancer surgery.  Would love to be able to make her and her friends some really cool cookies!

I've been baking/decorating cookies for just under a year and buying cutters has become an addiction. These cookie cutters are beautiful, would last a lifetime and I would love them because they would be the first decent cutters I would own, and of course cherish. Thank you for this offer.

There is nothing better than handmade.  To have this set in my collection would remind me everyday how important it is to love what you do and share what you do.  It's through our actions that others are inspired to make their dreams a reality too.  Thank you for the chance to win.  I can't wait to follow your amazing craftsmanship.

I am moving and my house will be on the market next week. I would love to bake and decorate some sugar cookies for the open house. This cutter would be an awesome addition to include in the cookie ensemble. buyers would DEFINITELY remember my house and beautiful spring  landscaping and flowers if they left with a beautiful cookie made by these amazing cutters!

This would be the perfect start of my collection of Michael's amazing cookie cutters. I plan to get quite of few of his cutters.   One day they maybe valuable collector items, especially in the cookie cutter community.  Thanks for letting me post.   Hope with finger crossed that I win this.

It would be a honor to win a amazing cookie cutter from Mr.Bonne, to the start of my copper cookie cutters collection ... And I would like to Thank Mrs.Julia Usher for giving me this great opportunity to win this amazing cookie cutter from this awesome artist.. Thanks

I really like this cookie cutter set, it is very cute.  It would be fun to decorate the cookies made from this set.  I have some of Michael Bonne's cookie cutters.

He is a very talented artist and have enjoyed all the cutter sets I have.

I just started decorating cookies 6 months ago. I LOVE IT. I also know there is a huge quality difference in cutters. I don't own a copper cutter yet. I was already looking at his Noah's Ark cutter. AMAZING. Copper is so much better and I plan to start investing in them. He does some amazing cutters. I love details.

I love this cutter! Spring is a LONG-awaited treat where I live. I'd love to use this cutter to create springtime potting sheds of my own. Beautifully done, Michael (again, always!!)

Thank you and, thank you Julia for sponsoring this sweet giveaway!

xo

What an absolutely BEAUTIFUL work of copper art!!!  I would LOVE to win the Potting Shed copper cutter because my other passion besides cookie decorating is gardening!  This cutter would be proudly displayed in my kitchen as one gorgeous piece of art representing my two loves!

What an honor it would be to have this specially made cookie cutter! It would certainly be the most wonderful cookie cutter in my collection!  And besides - April 1st is my birthday - what a wonderful gift this would be!

Who wouldn't want to win this wonderful cookie cutter set? My eyes popped wide open at the sight of the beautiful potting shed cutter! Pick me so I can continue to feed my cookie cutter addiction!

I would love to win this cutter! Since I'm a new cookie decorator, I own nothing like it. I checked out all the gorgeous cutters on his site..and they ARE gorgeous!!..but I can't order, as he only ships to the US.  Since I'm in Canada, this would be a great opportunity to own a wonderful piece of copper art!

So cute! I would love to win because I own over a thousand cookie cutters, but not one copper cutter. I would love to add these beautiful and unique cutters to my collection. And of course make some cookies with them!

Hi

I would love to win because first this cc is beautiful the detail and quality alone!! second I don't have any like this in design and copper( I only own cheap ones),my mind is already thinking in different colors to try...and finally to blow away the depression that winter leave on me; this cutter already start to give me hope for what spring would bring sun and flowers and colors ty you both for the opportunity

.

Through wisdom a house is built, And by understanding it is established;
By knowledge the rooms are filled With all precious and pleasant riches.

What a great way to glorify God in cookie form. Thank you Julia and Michael for your generous giving spirits.

The house cutter is just beautiful!  I would love it because I recently teamed up with a realtor to make cookies for her customers who purchase new homes!  This would be perfect! <3  Plus, to have an exquisite piece of hand-crafted art that is durable and long-lasting, made just for me, would be a rare and unique blessing!

I think the cutter itself is gorgeous -- it's a piece of artwork all on its own, and would be beautiful to display, aside from obviously creating some lovely cookies!  I'm glad to get familiar with Michael Bonne, who is clearly a very talented artisan and craftsman.

I would love to win these spring cutters for so many reasons including, but not limited to, the fact that they are awesome, I don't own any copper cutters, and would love to create some great cookies with them.

I would like to have this cutter really REALLY badly!!!  I am a former President of the Ridgefield Garden Club here in town. We are part of a national organization, (the Garden Club of America) which is celebrating its 100th birthday this June. I make cookies for all of the important dates for my club. We own our own Lord & Burnham Greenhouse and run an annual Mothers Day plant sale. This cutter and the cookies that I would decorate from it would be a smash surprise at our 100th Birthday Celebration evening celebration. Please please help us celebrate!!!! What better use for a potting shed and watering can cookie cutter than for a real garden party! Below are the cookies I made for the
Save the Date" invitations, so I hope you know that I would decorate these cookies beautifully!!

Cheers! Kristin McNamara

I would love to have one of the Michael Bonne´s cookies cutters because they are unique, so special. I live in Argentina and we do not have nothing similar. I would really love to have one of those for my little bussiness.

Thank you!!!! Hope I can win.
