Wait . . . what are you thinking? No, don’t be ridiculous, that's not me talking! It's my new stencil set - "Fall is Calling" - urging you to give it a try! 
Though once you see it in all of its autumn glory, I doubt you'll need much prodding!

As always, I'm releasing a few brand new things, along with reminding you of a past best-seller that's wonderful for fall cookies too. First, the new things:

Let's move on to talk about the background set - what's in it and how you might use it. I'll be showing you just a few examples of it in action. However, the options are many, and, as we all know, more designs equal more value!
Fall is Calling Dynamic DuosTM Background Set (6 pieces)
The simplest of all ways to use this set is to just lay down the background piece, and then spray away! Below, I used a white cookie with AmeriMist Avocado (ferns), AmeriMist Sunset Orange and Super Red (leaves and mushroom tops), and Chefmaster Harvest Brown (for the tree, mushroom stems, and shading within the tree trunk and along the cookie edges).
And here's a close-up.
In the two cookies below, I used the squirrel mask atop the background piece and ended up with this charming variation . . .
In this case, after stenciling the squirrel with dark brown, I filled its body with gold by setting the squirrel shading stencil on top and spraying inside it with a custom mix of AmeriMist Lemon Yellow and Chefmaster Harvest Brown. (Note: Since the tree trunk doesn't have a corresponding shading stencil, it was filled by spraying freehand using a light touch of Harvest Brown.)
Of course, you could do similar variations by using the owl or the tree stump masks and shading stencils. In fact, you'll see some of these elements used in the cookies shown below.
But, before we get to those pictures, let's explore the complementary message and frame set . . .

With these additional seven pieces in hand, you can make so many more designs! Here are a handful of the wonderful woodland possibilities, all with various framed sentiments:
In the photo above, the message and frame were stenciled directly on the cookie, whereas, in the remaining photos below, both the framed messages and the animals (from the background set) were turned into fondant appliqués.
I love how the fondant pieces add a little extra depth and dimension. I also love setting a fall table, so here's that same cookie with a little more of my décor in view!
And, last but not least, nothing says "hello fall" quite like a cute little owl!
