You may still be lingering poolside, or perhaps just starting the summer wind-down and prep for back to school, but the internet is telling us it's already time for Halloween cookies! Say it isn't so?! Just take a look at this week's hot list*. Though it has a smattering of summertime and all-season cookies, it contains at least three Halloween and/or fall sets, some initially posted as far back as 2018 that are getting renewed traffic from elsewhere online. Isn't it great that cookies here have a chance at a second life?!

Wonderful job, honorees! I must say, just looking at this list has me imagining the smell of fall leaves and craving a gulp of hot mulled cider. But, alas, here in St. Louis, I probably have another month or more before I can savor these things in real life. Patience is a virtue, they say, so I'll try to practice a bit of it in the coming weeks!
