Saturday Spotlight: Top 10 Fall Cookies

Here in Missouri this past week, the weather vascillated between summer and fall, apparently not able to make up its mind. But as of this morn, I can happily declare that all of that wishy-washiness is gone and autumn is definitively here! My black walnut trees are nearly naked; mums are polka-dotting the neighbors' front porches; and the extra nip in the air meant backtracking to the house for a sweatshirt to accompany me on my early jaunt to the gym!

But, perhaps the surest sign that fall has arrived is the (vast) quantity of autumn-themed cookies hitting the site! Not only are there a lot of said cookies, but they're also extremely high caliber - which is ample reason to spotlight them tonight!

This week's hot list* boasts everything from delicately piped autumn flowers and wreaths destined for the Go Bo! Foundation Bake Sale (above) to stylish Halloween caskets and pencils! (How can caskets and pencils be stylish, you ask? I might have wondered the same thing had I not first seen the fab airbrushing and molded fondant on these beauties!)
