Roses and lavender...
Wanted to make a mandala box, but then hubby reminded me that a friend's birthday was coming up. She always gets tons of small, stemless roses and arranges them in dishes. So thought I'd fill the box with roses + lavender instead…

Incredible Sonja! !! How large is the box (it looks pretty big)? You must need to have a fairly large cookie cutter in the octagon shape, right?  or is there some other way you've created the base? I also love your flowers and how you made them with so much dimension.  Just beautiful in your style of design that is so uniquely yours . Love this! !! Hugs

My goodness it must have taken you a long time to put the box together it's gorgeous the roses are definitely a good thought

I can't really say how long it took in all, Anne Marie, because I worked on it sporadically over several, otherwise very busy, weeks, whenever time allowed. Each section had to be dried before I could move on, so from that perspective it was ideal to work on it intermittently. Thanks for your kind comment ♥!

This looks so beautiful, Sonja. I would want to display it in a shadow box for everyone to see. It's definitely a work of art!

Thanks a ton for your sweet comment, Christine ♥♥♥!

Thanks so much, Carol! The box is 6 inches (15cm) in diameter and I hand cut the cookies. Thanks again!
