Hello! I’m back this week with a video featuring “Noel”, my favorite set from my new Prettier Plaques cookie stencil series – just in time for the holidays! As a reminder, I launched this new product line just a couple of weeks ago, in partnership with the fabulous team at Stencil Ease! Each of the sets in this particular series is designed to make cookie message plaques prettier than ever by eliminating interference between backgrounds and words through the use of an innovative masking piece!

In this video, I not only show how I use my Prettier Plaques sets to create fully layered looks, but I also demo how to create partial background effects by using other masking techniques.

BUT THAT’S NOT ALL . . .

To celebrate this launch, all Julia Usher stencils and stencil accessories are 20% off through December 22, 2016. Just apply the coupon code 112216 at check-out when you purchase here.

ASIDE: I am a finalist in the annual TASTE AWARDS. If you like my videos, please consider voting for me in categories #3 and #13 before December 20, 2016! Vote here under “Viewers Choice Category Voting”. THANK YOU!

Watched this wonderful video! Voted for you in all categories I saw your name and wish you continued success on your sweet journey.

Your stencils prompted me to actually order a air brush. Can't wait to put the 2 together someday!

Thanks! Just curious to know what airbrush you got and why you bought that one? I'm developing a new branded Julia Usher airbrush with Badger Airbrush Company now, and hope to have it out in a couple of months, so I am curious as to people's decision-making process. (I also plan to post a broader survey about airbrushes to the site in a couple of days, so please be sure to contribute to that too!)

I think this stencil is one of my all time favourites! I really need to get an airbrush motor - mine broke before I ever got to practice with it!

Thanks! I'll soon have a Julia Usher-branded airbrush (gun) and compressor available for sale, so please stay tuned!

While watching these videos I see the little pot on top of the air brush. Have you ever dumped the liquid accidently? Is there a plastic cap to keep that from happening?  I have not stenciled or air brushed. The pine needles and pine cone is the prettiest stencil. I just love it.

Yes, it's super easy to spill coloring out of airbrushes with small cups. Many come with caps, but many of the caps are tough to remove and reinsert. Fortunately, I use an airbrush (Badger) with a larger cup and a great cap! (Thanks for your kind words about the stencils too! )
