For this set, I first practiced piping circles on a sheet of acetate that covered a page full of circles. My method for piping circles is as follows: After baking my cookies (which are 2 1/8"ร˜), I drew circles on the back of them using a template. (For me, it seemed easier to pipe a circle on a flat back rather than a domed front.) I then piped a very thin circular outline using a PME tip No. 1. I found that using a stiffer icing helped, as I was able to gently nudge the line with my scribe as needed to make the circle as circular as possible. By the time I flooded the cookies the outline had dried and I found that I could flood up to and on top of the line without my icing spilling over.

Below, is a picture of my practice circles, my plain flooded cookies and the original set I had in mind that wouldn't have worked.

And since I have no creativity, I just piped the same pattern on all my cookies.

No creativity... ha! These are super cool and perfect for this challenge, where the theme is practice, practice, practice!I thought it was genius to pipe on the flat backside of the cookie.  I have never thought to do that! I personally find it harder to pipe curves with smaller tips, but your #1 circles are perfect. And of course, your string work is amazing, as ever. What color is that blue?  It is so rich.

Thank you Christine! @Bakerloo Station This blue is just a combination of Witon's royal blue and violet. I did let it sit and develop for over a week...with kids in the house, I can fill my piping bag on a Monday, and if I'm lucky, start piping on a Friday ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…
