I really loved this Challenge!!  I had to try more than once,  as the first time I burned the isomalt and my husband had to run off to buy some more!!

So thanks to him... this is the result.

I atached a mini tutorial with how I went about this Isomalt stained glass proyect. In one of the photos you can see it lighed from behind with a tea candle.

I hope you like it!! I really had a lovely time designing and planning and then trying to capture in reality what I had in my head.

Sonja Galmad (aka @iSugarfy (aka swissophie)) tutorial con the  Isomalt Butterfly Suncatcher  was very helpful

How absolutely delightful, Alison! I just saw the same idea with a tea candle in the back the other day. Even took a picture of it :

Thought something like this would make a great gift, and here you are, doing it !

Yours, of course, is much more beautiful! Love that textured background, too ❤️!

Yes, I like this a lot!  It is so pretty.  I couldn't pour right amount of melted isomalt to where I wanted.

Yes Ryoko, it was quite difficult, I had to keep re heating it all the time to be able to pour it  with out it becoming like string!!

Great entry. Looks like some real stained window art. As if you have taken it out of a church and just placed on a cookie.

Nice work Alison. I also love the texture on your back cookie. How this was your royal icing for you to be able to do this?

Thank you very much!! The icing must be of thick consistency,  let it  crust... than sprinkle some icing sugar on top before using the texture mat.  Not so difficult at all!!

Thank you Alison. I tried it and it worked!

I love this entry! It is both perfectly conceived and executed. I also really appreciate your detailed, step-by-step instruction with pictures. It's really, really helpful to see all of the process, especially with complex entries like this. Really well done!
