This was a really fun set to design & decorate! A customer wanted to have an elegant bridal shower set. Once she saw the rose cookie I had done recently for the 32nd Challenge (it is posted on my Facebook page) she wanted to include it in the set.

I have always loved the "diamond engagement ring" cookie cutter but wanted to change it up from ones I've previously done. Adding the man's "ring" to the engagement ring gave me the sIight modification that I wanted .

You can easily see Julia's @Julia M. Usher influence in the modeling chocolate ribbons on the sides of the rose (I made it according to Julia's recipe and it turned out perfect!). I also used the message part of one of Julia's stencil sets which was the perfect size for piping the bride and groom's names. The background was achieved by airbrushing through a piece of lace.

Hubby saw where I was going with the heart cookies topped with floral printed wafer paper. He suggested adding a few accent cookies with just the wafer paper and a border rather than putting the RI transfer heart on all of the heart cookies. What a great idea!! It's the perfect accent cookie to the set . That hubby of mine...a true gem!
