Angel cookie

With my gift basket business, sometimes we get upset. A Baking friend asked me to put something together for family who recently lost their baby, stillborn at birth. I went with angel wings, and included a Willow Tree Angel by Susan Lordi - 'Sign for Love' and the Book " Mummy please don't cry" by Linda Deymaz with other items. Each part of the gift was carefully wrapped in tissue paper and packed into a keepsake box.
Even though my airbrush was playing up (sorted now thankfully) I used the Angel Wings and Angel images as part of the the gift messages - one was glued in the front cover of the book, the other used as the gift card.. I also included other photos for the young couple to keep. Breaks my heart that they never had a chance to greet the baby girl before she was whisked away by the Angels.

This is so beautiful and so very heartbreaking. I worked as the unit secretary in labor and delivery at a large hospital in Central Florida for six years. I've seen this heartbreak more times than I care to remember. All we can do is pray for God's strength and peace for these families. Thank you for sharing.
