Inspired by various pieces of tableware from the 50's I came across at flea markets

Flea markets are inspiration heaven *lol* I hardly buy the things, but you find loads of crockery and fabrics with awesome patterns.

These are so much fun!! Love the black and pink and all the lining you did with the black. It looks like watercoloring with the pink. Is the black wet-on-wet?

 The pink is wet-on-wet, the black I added with the fine tip of my beloved Rainbow Dust edible marker. I still have to try watercoloring, only that I am awful with a brush...

Guess I got it backwards with the pink and black. Love the originality of the cookies. I haven't tried watercolor on cookies yet either. Maybe some day soon...

Uh, this is like I can't believe it.  Mind boggling.  Seems like everything you see is translated onto a cookie!  You can't help yourself.  I'm glad of that  

...where'd you get the bird cutter?  Did you make a template?

Hm, I guess I have not translated garbage into cookies... yet

The birds are cutters, I bought them at http://www.henkundhenri.de/, about the only shop in Germany that sells decorated cookis.
