This looks great, Heather. What did you think of the technique?

Thank you so much, Christine. I appreciate your encouraging comment.                                         When you put this challenge out I loved the idea. I like this technique but had only tried it with flowers and ruffles. So it made me think of surfaces that had such shape and this was one of them. There was a first attempt but I didn’t like the results. The good news is that I could redo it on top of the original one, and it looked better! It pushed me out of my comfort zone, which is one of the aims of all this, isn’t it? Thank you! I enjoyed it!β™₯️β™₯️

Wow, this is awesome Heather @Heather Bruce Sosa!! The brush embroidery worked out perfectly as feathers on your bird. And the flowers are so beautiful as an accent to the main focus of the cookie. Such creativity and talent my dear!! Beautiful work ❀️

Carol dear, your comments are always so encouraging and uplifting. Thank you so much, dear friend. I deeply appreciate them. I love this challenge!πŸ₯°

I'm glad you enjoyed it. I like how your brush strokes vary in size and length. It really adds to the realism and gives your cardinal character.
