UPDATE:  Since I had received just the picture of the pie crust from a friend of mine, I hadn't researched to find out the source of the pie crust art . I just found out a few minutes ago that the original pie crust was made by an amazing pastry cook/artist from the UK, Julie Jones. You can see some of her work at https://thefeedfeed.com/julie_jonesuk  and also on her instagram page: https://www.instagram.com/julie_jonesuk/?hl=en. Her work is beyond amazing.

She has graciously given me permission to not just post the picture of her pie but also to cookie-fy it. Thank you Julie!!!

A friend of mine sent me pictures of artistic pie crusts and I thought it would be fun to see if I could "cookie-fy" one of them. LOL. My version doesn't look much like the attached picture but I enjoyed the challenge. I never thought of pie crust as artwork before, but this particular pie crust is beautiful. ❤️

I went looking for a smaller size decorating tip that was straight.  I only had the Wilton large straight slot and lined slot on the reverse side. The smaller tip is a Wilton 301 which is the perfect size for doing a basketweave on cookies @Sweet Prodigy. Thank you for your kind comment,  Christine ❤❤
