This set is a remake of a set that I made for PBP Challenge #21 - Lace, back in March 2017. Christine @Bakerloo Station鈥檚 challenges have always been an inspiration to me.

It is not always easy to transform and idea, or a project into cookies, but @Julia M. Usher鈥檚 video tutorials about how to bake, flood and decorate contoured cookies with @SugarVeil needlepoint lace, helped me a lot and gave me foundation.

These are the links to only two of her videos on You Tube (but if you have a passion for cookies and are eager to learn, I suggest you to watch them all):

here - 鈥淗ow  to Contour Cookie Dough鈥

here - 鈥淗ow to Dip and Decorate a Rounded or Contoured Cookie鈥

And now please allow me to spam you with some more pictures just because cookies are ephemeral and the pictures are the only things that last.

My first cookie spools back in March 2017:

The naked cookies. Sorry for all the crumbs! It is difficult to take pictures of 3-D cookies. This was a layout test to see if the cookies filled all the space or if I needed to add more spools (which I did actually). I didn鈥檛 plan to post this photo but I think it is interesting.

Here鈥檚 the final picture:

And here are two more pictures, because I like to play with different combination of cookies.

Thank you Noaa @Noaa ! I have been wanting to make them since last Christmas. I didn鈥檛 have time to do them, but time to think. 馃槉馃槉馃挄

Thank you dear Evelin @Evelindecora, that鈥檚 why I displayed them on a plate! When people looked at the previous set, at first glance didn鈥檛 understand that they were cookies! 馃槀馃槀馃槀 鉂わ笍

Ingenius and so lovely! Not sure how did you achieve the curved cookie, white one, in the front. Amazing!

Thank you @Dragana, that is a technique that I developed after I practiced with what I have learned from @Julia M. Usher鈥 tutorials. Practice bakes perfect!

Absolutely love these Christmas spools dar Manu @Manu!! Using the grid mat with SugarVeil is such a perfect way to obtain a perfect grid for piping shapes and words. I love this idea and it's perfect for any occasion .

Yes, I discovered that mat watching @Julia M. Usher鈥檚 videos and it was love at first sight. The challenge was the chance to purchase it and use it. Actually I have used it for the October tutorial and I kept using it! You鈥檒l see more projects coming.
