Thank you so much for your kind words Carol! Yes, I discover new interesting topics here every day! I am happy to be here with you and everyone!! 😘

Hi Gabi @Icingsugarkeks!! You know, I've been on CC for at least 4 years now and am constantly seeing new information that helps me continue to learn and grow as a cookier. I'm certain you'll find the very same thing ❤️❤️❤️

Oh, I absolutely adore this set, dear Carol ❤️❤️❤️! The teddies are super cute! Just love how the little guy looks up at his balloons 😍😍😍!

And I'm so happy you gave the knitting a try. You certainly did not fail at all! Some knit a bit looser than others with yarn knitting too 😊. The stiffer the icing the tighter the stitches will look. And I personally only can pipe the knit stitch with parchment paper cones... metal tips are too rigid, and won't work for me with this.

The vest looks fabulous to me, my sweet friend, and I'm sure your client will be thrilled with this wonderful set 😀!

You are always so very sweet and kind dear Sonja @iSugarfy (aka swissophie) ❤️❤️❤️. Thank you! Yes, the knitting didn't go as well as I had hoped but I figure that giving it a try is always a good thing. Learning is a slow process and so worth the time. Interesting that you find using parchment cones is the best way to achieve the knitting appearance. I'll have to give it a try.

I'm eager to hear from my client . Hopefully the cookies will be a hit at her granddaughter's baby shower ❤️❤️. Looking forward to seeing your next gorgeous creation, my dear friend!!

Oh, dear Carol, but I think the knitting did go very well! It's just easier with parchment paper, as it's flexible, and one can tamper the icing off at the end of a stich, so the next, when placed on top, will start again at the same hight. Not sure whether that makes sense, but it's something one couldn't achieve with a metal tip, unless held in an unnatural position. It's not only the rigidity of metal, but also it's thickness. Paper is much thinner, and one can lay the lines much closer to neighboring ones without disturbing/damaging them.

Hope you got a great feedback from your client, dear Carol @Cookies Fantastique , as it must be for such a wonderful set of cookies!!!

Thanks so much for explaining the use of the parchment cone versus metal tip for making the knitting stitch with RI @iSugarfy (aka swissophie) . You were very clear dear Sonja about how to better achieve the tighter line and grouping of the "stitches" using RI .

I got great feedback from my client!! I was thrilled to hear her words, especially her appreciate of the detail in my cookies...I think that paying close attention to the details is what separates a good from a much better finished product ❤️. You are always so generous in sharing dear Sonja. Thank you my dear friend ❤️❤️❤️

Latest update: The client received her cookies yesterday afternoon. Big smiles all around!!! She LOVED them. Wahoo . She actually had dropped one of the cookies while putting them into the freezer until the weekend shower. She, her hubby and the mom to be "had" to eat the broken cookie and let me know how delicious it was. What could be better than to have beauty and yumminess all in one product ❤️❤️❤️

Picture a happy little cookier as I sit at my computer
