Hi, Maria, These cookies are lovely, but to qualify for the challenge one of the cookies must have at least four (4) of the techniques listed below on it. Can you tell us which cookie has the four techniques, and which techniques were used on it? Please note that wet-on-wet and marbling do not count as part of the four for this challenge. Thanks.

  • royal icing transfers
  • fondant or gumpaste elements
  • SugarVeil® or other edible lace elements
  • sprinkles, dragées, or other storebought candies
  • stenciled areas or elements
  • stamped areas or elements
  • wafer paper, frosting sheets, edible gold/silver leaf, or other edible paper
  • homemade candy, such as melted clear mints, sugar syrup boiled to various stages, modeling chocolate, etc.
  • isomalt
  • luster dusts
  • painted areas or elements, using extended dusts or food coloring
  • hand-drawn areas or elements, using edible marker

I put 7, not 6

Yes, but which ONE of the cookies has 4 of the 7 techniques on it? That is the primary requirement (Rule #2, below), not that four or more techniques be used overall. I'm not sure I see a cookie with more than three techniques on it  - I see royal icing transfers and fondant flowers on the center heart (2 techniques), a handpainted butterfly and fondant flower on the cookie to the right (2 techniques), etc.

You'll need to pinpoint the one (or more) cookies that have the four techniques on it, as I cannot find it. That's not to say it's not here, I just can't see it and don't want to guess. THANKS!

2.  Create your mixed media cookie (or set) using a minimum of four (4) of the following different media/techniques. (If you make a set, not every cookie has to use all four techniques, but at least one of them must!)

I spread it, I got it. Until next time, thanks!

Okay, so sorry, as these are gorgeous! There's still time to enter though.
