At the last minutes I remembered I had wanted to try crochet or knit piping technique of @Evelindecora , since I luckily got her beautiful cookies a year ago. I still keep them of course, and I could learn how by looking at the real cookie, but I asked her if thereโ€™s any tip. She kindly showed me that she pipes lines from bottom to top to make them parallel, because you can see exactly what you are doing.

I always pipe straight lines from left to right. (Most cookiers doing video pipe lines in all different direction, without turning a cookie around. Itโ€™s just amazing to me!) Therefore, itโ€™s a bit tricky for me to pipe lines from bottom to top, but I found piping lines diagonally is easier for me and it might be effective.

I also realised the most difficult thing is not technique itself, but how you use each technique. (I mean the whole design.) I admire the way Evelin put various techniques together! Thank you Evelin!

This is an absolutely gorgeous melding of your style, Noriko, and Evelin's style! I love your description of how Evelin pipes differently from you, and that you had to adapt your piping technique to Evelin's style by creating the diagonal pattern.  Very interesting! These cookies are absolutely beautiful.  I am so glad you had the chance to try something new and enter the challenge.

Thank you Christine! I think I knew @Evelindecora's work very well, but when I scrutinized her cookies, I realised she put together different techniques in one cookie beautifully and it is one of the most difficult things. I keep learning!
