During the last challenge I had thought to work with some isomalt which isn't my favorite medium to use!! It's kind of quirky to work with which is why I haven't used it much. I was happy with how this one came out though. Thought that it was fun with the tea light behind illuminating through the isomalt with cake lace. My first idea was to have clear isomalt but when it didn't come out crystal clear I was disappointed. I always try to "fix" my errors on cookies. I let the cookie sit for a bit and came back to it which is when I decided to try cake lace to cover up the less than perfectly clear isomalt.

❤️❤️ It's so Pretty...

Thanks so very much! The idea came from one of @Manu biscotti decorati's great tutorials: https://cookieconnection.julia...-a-3d-cookie-lantern. I loved the idea of being able to have a light shining behind the isomalt to give the project a glow. Since my isomalt wasn't perfect I covered it with the cake lace and still wanted to see what it would look like with a tea light behind the cookie. I really liked the results

This cookie is gorgeous, Carol @Cookies Fantastique! And the picture is great! It is not easy to take picture of cookies when they don’t lay on a table.

Thank you for the mention💕

Thank you @Manu biscotti decorati!! I so appreciate you giving me the idea . You're so right about the the photography challenges, especially when you want to illuminate from behind. Hubby gave me a couple of very helpful suggestions and I'm pleased with how the photography turned out.
