Carol! This is just a stunning entry!. I love that you pulled inspiration and techniques from so many different people, and really made this set your own. That is what inspiration is all about. I really appreciate your detailed description of your process and am fascinated by the way you made that large rose. I would have had no idea that there was a cookie rose underneath the large piped rose! What a complicated technique, and yet, it worked beautifully. This is an outstanding addition to the challenge.

Thank you so very much Christine @Bakerloo Station!! It's interesting how inspiration can come from an incredible variety of sources, isn't it?  Samantha's gorgeous heart transfer inside the heart cookie that she did for her last tutorial was so gorgeous . I just loved the idea of a heart in a heart cookie. Thank you, Samantha @Aproned Artist!

This was such a fun challenge. Thank you Christine for all your hard work in making these challenges fun as well as encouraging me to stretch my creative abilities into different areas. What I loved so much about this last challenge was that only 1 color could be used and the entire cookie surface had to be covered with RI. The effect really makes the design pop off the cookie, doesn't it?

Julia @Julia M. Usher has often shown ideas in tutorials using molds for baking dough into a variety of shapes. I thought it would be fun to try the technique with freezing dough in a mold and putting it onto a cookie prior to baking. I wasn't sure how well the mold design would hold up in the baking process but was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked, giving me the perfect shape to pipe petals around the additional cookie.

Thanks again for all that you do in the CC community. You are truly a delight ❤️❤️❤️

You are the heart and soul of Cookie Connection, Carol. xoxo

❤️❤️❤️

Thank you, Carol! Your cookies are absolutely gorgeous, and if I had anything to do with that, I could not be happier.

So beautiful, Carol! I can’t decide which cookie is my favorite; they are all so elegant and lovely. The single color really lets you focus on all the intricate details.

Thanks so much dear Samantha @Aproned Artist!! That's exactly what my hubby said when he saw it completed . He had no idea where I was going with it but he's always incredibly supportive as is everyone here on CC ❤️. When I looked at your heart tutorial it was like a little light bulb went off in my head...inspiration!!
