This is my contribution to Challenge # 40.
I accepted your challenge dear Christine. You write there are many ways to create a "brush embroidery". I put brush embroidery on the raw dough in my cookie and then baked it. The bees' wings are also decorated with brush embroidery. They are made of very thick frosting, almost fondant. I glued them tight after baking. The whole cookie turned out to be too dark for me and so I thinly painted the beehive with icing sugar and white food coloring. Next time I would bake the basket with light cookie dough. I think that would be better. So I learned something again ...

How fun Gabi!! I love your idea of using brush embroidery to create this beehive @Icingsugarkeks!! So clever and creative my dear. Your little bees are adorable!! I really appreciate your explanation of how you created your beehive by baking the dough with the technique already applied. Awesome idea my dear ❤️. I know what you mean about the dark cookie dough but think that it still looks wonderful!! Hugs...

Oh Gabi!  This is wonderful.  I love the idea of brush embroidery from dough.  Very clever.  Great job!! @Icingsugarkeks.  😘❤️

Thank you so much my dear cookie buddy Lisa!! ❤️😘❤️

I like your outside-the-box thinking when it comes to using cookie dough for your brush embroidery technique. For this challenge, I was looking more so for entrants to use the traditional brush embroidery technique - which uses royal icing - to create their not-so-traditional designs. Your bumblebee wings are a great example of this. I like the idea of a beehive; it is certainly very creative.

Thanks a lot dear Christine!! ❤️ Let's see, maybe I can get yet a real cookie ready ...?! 😘

I love all those tiny bees!

Aww... Thank you sooo much dear Tina!! @Tina at Sugar Wishes ❤️😘❤️
I like the bees too... You should get a cartoon character. I have never seen bees with noses! 😂 But I thought that was kind of cute ...

What a nice idea to use the brush embroidery technique on cookie dough, and so much work to make each single dot of dough of the same size (I belive). Thanks for the details in the comment.

Thank you so much dear Manu.

But I have to agree with Christine, it's not a real brush embroidery. I like other posts much better! Thanks anyway Manu! ❤️😘 @Manu biscotti decorati
